"Nancy and Paul Schwiesow did a wonderful job of helping us sell our home in the South Woodside neighborhood of Silver Spring and then also helped us find and purchase our new home in Kensington. We put our house on the market in the Spring of 2007 in what was being called a "buyers market." We were somewhat worried about what this may mean for us, but we needn't have been. Nancy and Paul were very helpful in helping us prepare our home for sale by using their expertise to identify where we could make small and relatively inexpensive improvements to the house that would help attract buyers. They also presented us with a lot of research on similar home sales in the surrounding neighborhoods in order to help us determine our asking price. In the end, we had multiple offers on our house within days of putting it on the market and we even got over our asking price! Not long after, the Schwiesows sent us a listing for a home in Kensington that was exactly what we were searching for. They even arranged for us to see it that same evening and helped us write our offer the very next day. We, once again, relied on their years of experience working closely with buyers and sellers combined with their neighborhood research to determine a fair offering price. We successfully offered less than the asking price. From the start, Nancy and Paul proved invaluable in helping us navigate the arts of selling, buying, and closing on our homes. They are exceptionally professional, experienced, and personable - certainly a winning combination as far as we are concerned.
